Silence Speaks

Have you heard the saying, "Silence is deadly"? I say silence is informative, instinctive, & especially rewarding. Everything can be understood with silence. You may think silence is a stand still where communication has temporarily halted or maybe even dead. I beg to differ, silence can be the most informative method of communication.

Think about it. Perception is a form of listening as silence is a form of communicating. You do not need to hear someone explain their emotions. Even when they are holding them in, you sense how they feel. Do you really have to ask them? And without saying a word your parents, spouse, friends, children, & even strangers can sense your emotions. Do you really have to tell them? Explaining how one feels, good or bad, will only mask or even alienate the connection that can be discovered in silence. Go deeper than words.

Now you're probably thinking I believe in telepathy. Yes, I may be a freak, but clairvoyance is not what I am talking about. I am talking about the sympathetic affection of one mind connecting with the soul of another. This is not soul to soul or mind to mind. This is mind to soul connection. Creating an understanding that goes beyond verbal or even physical communication. Everyone has it. When someone is exuding their feelings, it comes through their soul. When someone feels & understands anothers feelings, it comes through their mind. That connection is where silence becomes the master of communication. Who needs words.

I bet that as you read this, you can sense everything I leave in these words. We all instinctively want to ask. We all instinctively want to tell. And it is fine to listen to those who speak. And I understand that it feels good to tell all. But I challenge you to read.....feel....listen to the soul of everyone around you. I promise you, you will know & understand. Do not listen to your doubts. Doubts are just instincts that want reassurance.

When you start communicating in silence, you will know all. You will know when to truly love, hate, feel sorrow, & even trust. But I warn you, silence without communication is fatal. Do not use silence as a barrier. For when the dam breaks, emotions will drown all in its path. Do not use silence to fool. Remember that your soul exudes the truth, regardless how hard you hold it in or lie to fool.

I am telling you now, that we all better know & understand one another in silence. Try it. The next time you are in a crowded bus, an elevator, or a party full of strangers, open your mind to enter a soul. As you scan through the people you will find mostly silence as a barrier you can not break. But eventually you will make eye contact with someone. They will look at you maybe one second longer than comfort allows. It is within that second that the connection speaks volumes & tells a story. But remember, they will be able to understand you as well.

Silence speaks for itself.
